My name is Katsumi Tamaki. This website was established to help more people become familiar with Okinawa-te, a traditional martial art of Okinawa, and to ensure that its techniques and spirit are passed on to future generations.
Okinawa-te is a martial discipline founded on traditional methods and ethical values, placing importance on the cultivation of both body and mind, as well as personal development. On this site, you will find information on the background and philosophy of Shinjin-ryu, approaches to practice, and the underlying principles that define Okinawa-te.
